Accessibility

Access ramps for wheelchair users are available during open days and events.
​
If you are a wheelchair user or use a walking aid and would like to arrange a visit to St Luke's Bombed Out Church for an open day or an event, please let us know in advance over on: hello@slboc.com
​
Wheelchair users or individuals with walking aids enter via Leece Street and are then guided by staff into the venue via our accessible route. We allocate aisle seats near this route, which is also near the toilets.
It's important that we're notified in advance of customers with accessibility needs so that we can make sure seats are reserved, particularly on sold out shows.

Complimentary tickets are available for carers accompanying one full paying adult who has proof of their accessibility needs. Please email us on hello@slboc.com for more information.

Responsible Measures
We hirer all our 'glassware' in from Event Cup Solutions, the official home of the 'ONE' brand - with the powerful 'One Planet. One Chance.' sustainable message. Encouraging positive environmental behaviour from visitors. These cups are delivered, used, returned to Event Cup Solutions for cleaning and are then reused.

The UK alone disposes of over 1 billion plastic cups each year causing significant environmental complications. All cups are made in Great Britain, supporting British manufacturing and reducing the carbon footprint and the environmental consequences of importing.

All cardboard and glass onsite is recycled. At present we do have portaloos onsite due to being a church ruin, as part of our future venue plans we intend to install running water so that we can provide permanent toilet facitilies, making us more economical.

Garden covid measures &
Ordering service
Providing covid-safe, outdoor hospitality within a stunning setting, the spacious grounds offer locals somewhere they can meet friends and family with confidence.
Friendly, covid-trained staff welcome you on arrival, seating your party at one of our socially distanced tables, complete with large parasols. QR codes direct you toward a simple online drinks menu, where your order can be placed and drinks delivered to you.

Event covid measures &
Ordering service
When attending an event, seats are allocated on arrival, if anyone attending prefers to have room between them and others, we can look to accommodate this.
Hot and alcoholic beverages are ordered via your phone by scanning a QR code, this will be displayed along with your seat number on the ticket which you’re given at box office. Drinks are then delivered straight to your seat.
On leaving the venue, you leave to the back of the venue, where there's a one way system in place. Cleaning chemicals are used that are effective against coronavirus and hand gel is readily available onsite.
